Cafe Kloster in Rostock

Quaint cafe built in an old monastery away from the hustle and bustle of Rostock City. Interesting operator of the cafe, pleasant staff. Delicious cake and coffee, but the food on the other tables looked great. Large and quiet outside area.

Very tasty selection! The milk foam on the cappuccino is nice and firm and well foamed. We are also pleased to be able to support the Rostock workshops in this way.

Good tea, nice ambiente, decent price but I'm a bit disappointed with the server. Please, when I order tea with extra milk and tap water (which I mentioned several times), either bring me milk or tell me it's not available...

Very nice restaurant, close to the center and fair prices - a real insider tip! Lovingly furnished and also the opportunity to sit outside. We were served nicely and ate very tasty, the waffles and yeast dumplings are highly recommended. The bratwurst with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut and the onion soup were also excellent. Gladly again.

A very nice café in a magical setting. The outdoor seating looks out into the monastery garden, which our children had a lot of fun with with a beautiful, large playground, so that we could relax and enjoy coffee and cake. The staff is very friendly and helpful

We visited the monastery museum today and then stopped at the Café Kloster. It is very cozy there. The warm plum cake was so delicious - it couldn't be better. The seasoned meat is also highly recommended. The service was very friendly. We would love to come back. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Friendly, great service. Delicious dishes, snacks and sweets at absolutely fair prices. Beautiful terrace with a view of a brand new playground. Changing facilities on the upper floor, everything is thought of here

Very nice little cafe. I think, since it is operated by the German Red Cross, that you also do something good with it, because maybe people are employed there who do not necessarily have the best chances on the first job market. The prices moderate, delicious the homemade lemonades.

Unexpected accident! It was my second time here. The restaurant is located in an old building and is operated by the Rostock DRK. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Although the dining room was full, I was served quickly. The operators score with a good price-performance ratio.

Very good food and price, the place is also beautiful but the service is bad, the persons treat you without patience and strange, even if you speak in German 🤷🏻‍♀️

Very cosy, traditional Cafe. Friendly service and old fashioned food that you seldom find anywhere. Lovely area to sit under the apple tree outside.

We had yeast dumplings with cherries and waffle with apple compote and ice cream. (Image is uploaded) Both very good, nice ambience in authentic Klosterhof, extremely friendly staff. If you have time, you should stop by, there are also hearty meals. 😊

A romantic place between city walls and old monastery complex really historically much visited and popular. The team works for the Red Cross. Even the products that are sold come from workshops for the disabled working for the Red Cross. Just visit.

Totally cute cafe just around the corner in the city center. At the University Square, turn left at the fountain and head towards the Kloster Museum. There are two small tables in front of the cafe and several in the backyard in the beer garden. There were delicious, still warm sheet cake and many sorts of spritzers from juices. We recommend

Nice independent coffee store. I only had coffee, but I saw people getting large sweet treats (waffles) on the same table. Interior is very nice and service is quick. I wasn't particularly happy about the taste of the coffee. Other than that, I can recommend.

Quiet restaurant situated a short walk from busy shopping street. Lovely meal. Possibility for eating outside in sunny courtyard, if you are lucky.

The cafe is a very beautiful place with an romantic, mediaeval outdoor area within an old monastery. Lovely, compassionate staff, very good value for money and home cooked food make it the perfect place to relax and enjoy. I will come back for sure when I will be in Rostock again.
